City Councilmember Ayesha Ghazi Edwin comes in for severe criticism for her previous allegations of antisemitism when that resolution was brought before Ann Arbor City Council.

She is told to introduce the resolution herself instead of fighting against it.

This occasions applause from the audience.

"Ann Arbor residents Mozhgan Savabieasfahani and Blaine Coleman asked the council to pass a resolution declaring opposition to military aid to Israel. Savabieasfahani and Coleman said they have been demanding this action from the council for over two decades. 

" 'The Minneapolis, Ithaca, St. Paul and Richmond city councils have already approved resolutions against military aid to Israel,' Coleman said. 'Get with it, Ann Arbor City Council.' "
