The Council thereby ensured that Israel -- fueled by massive armaments from the U.S. -- can keep bombing, massacring, and starving one million Palestinians out of their homes, without any city council in the entire United States objecting.

At least five U.S. city councils have approved resolutions opposing military aid to Israel - The Richmond City Council resolution which  "opposes all existing and any future military aid to Israel".
