Feb. 28, 2023: Video record of the Hamtramck, Michigan proclamation, by its Mayor and City Council, opposing military aid to repressive governments, opposing occupation, and voicing the City's belief in Palestinian rights.

Speeches were made in favor of the historic Palestine proclamation at the Hamtramck City Council meeting,  starting at 51 minutes and 30 seconds into the meeting, on 2/28/2023. 

That proclamation is the first such proclamation by any City Council in the nation.

This successful proclamation opposes military aid to repressive governments, it opposes occupation, and it voices the City's belief in Palestinian rights.
