"We are against military aid to Israel."

That resolution was a major issue in the 2020 Ann Arbor City Council campaign, as you can see in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kYdnvS6aQI

Israel has killed thousands of Palestinians -- on Palestinian land.

We have the duty to speak against racist state violence. That means we say "no" to military aid to Israel. 

It's time for our seven-word human rights resolution to get a public hearing and a vote at Ann Arbor City Council. 

We hope that our resolution will spread to other City Councils, just like the old resolutions against the apartheid state of South Africa in the 1980's.

At least five U.S. city councils have approved resolutions opposing military aid to Israel - The Richmond City Council resolution which  "opposes all existing and any future military aid to Israel".
